Professor Huijun Ring is an adjunct professor at School of Medicine, Stanford University. She received her PhD in molecular biology and genetics from Cornell University and completed her post-doctoral medical genetics training at Stanford University School of Medicine. She is a clinical molecular geneticist and board-certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics. 

Currently, Professor Ring teaches the course “Science and History of Traditional Chinese Medicine” at Stanford University. This course has been repeatedly rated as one of the most popular courses at Stanford University by Stanford students. Professor Ring’s research primarily focuses on East-West integrative medicine and bio-sustainability innovation.
